After being online for a year and a half, it seems that the "Great Google Gods" have determined that Our Cheating Ways is "mature" content and not suited for advertising via the Google Adsense program.
Now we can all agree that the topic of infidelity is pretty much intended for adults (go figure ) but Geez Louise, I have always tempered my comments and carefully chosen graphics that were barely suggestive much less pornographic! Well…until now!
Regardless, Google's main concern is that "advertisers would not be comfortable showing their ads on such content".
That makes me chuckle!
A quick search on Google for the term "cheating" reveals a ready supply of sponsored advertisers:
AND…41,800,000 searches are being performed for that term.
Hmmm…
Now I wonder…just exactly what type of sites do these paying Adword customers want their advertisements to be shown on? These people pay Google good money to place their infidelity advertisements on relevant sites!
I must admit that for a time, Google's decision to exclude Our Cheating Ways from the Adsense program had me confused. But…after reading an article I found on HubPages, the fog has lifted and Google's decision is now as clear as mud to me.
Since there are no second chances with them, I am left with the rather liberating realization that now, I don't have to be careful what I post. Since I no longer have to concern myself with staying in "Google's Good Graces"…I can post any damned thing I want.
With all of the chatter this past month about the Ashley Madison Agency doubling it's membership in the last year I decided to pay them another visit.
I don't recall being overly impressed with the married dating site the last time I was there but hey…now, with over 2 million members and growing, they must be doing something right!

Is polygamy a legitimate lifestyle choice or is it in fact the practice of abusing and enslaving female women and children by men with overactive libidos?
I have to say that this video does not portray a very positive image of the lifestyle!
The April raid on the YFZ Ranch (which means Yearning for Zion) near Eldorado, Texas and the removal of over 400 children living there has brought polygamy into the spotlight. Most of us never give it any thought until something like this hits the news.
Polygamy, polygyny, polyandry, polyamory…it all gets so confusing doesn't it?
Poly this - poly that. Just what exactly is the difference? Well just to clear the fog, here are the definitions as defined in the dictionary…

My ex-husband asked me this once when I came home from a little get together at a girlfriend’s house…"so, is there any dew on the lily?" Dew on the lily? In his own colorful way, he was asking me if I had cheated on him!
Why is it that when the passion fades and lust is once again something to fantasize about,a man’s first instinct is to point an accusing finger? "You’re not hitting on me so you must be doing someone else - are you?"
There are only two good reasons for these immature accusations…Continue reading—>
